Property is adjacent to the beach area, we had a great view of the esplanade from our room. The check-in was great, probably the friendliest one on our 20 day trip around Europe. Room was run of the mill, bathroom could do with some modernisation together with some luxurious towels instead of the heavily used ones provided.

We stayed in a double room which was a good size and nicely appointed and clean. the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and great hotel as we were flying out of the south terminal and so only a 7-10min walk to the check in desks. We traveled to the hotel by train which is super convenient and only a 5 min walk from the station to the hotel. Plenty of eating options in and around the hotel, in walking distance. We will definitely use again if traveling through Gatwick.

Great location for events. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Need shuttle service between hotel and local train station for those guests who aren’t travelling by car.

What an amazing place to stay. We were going to a wedding at a different hotel and the contrast in the hotel staff could not be more marked. The Ashdown Park Hotel staff were awesome.

Helpful staff, good breakfast, comfortable room. There just are not enough parking spaces on site so one has to park in the street with a hotel supplied permit which is slightly inconvenient though we were always to find a spot close by.

We enjoyed 2 nights at Beachcroft Hotel. The room was better than we had expected from the photos. It was quite small but ok for us and there was a nice little balcony facing the sea. Try the scones at the cafe they are sensational! Staff were very friendly and helpful. View and location are great.

I enjoyed that it was both close to the train station and the bus station making transportation very essy
