"We always stay here when we are in the Finger Lakes. We've always had a clean and spacious room, and the staff has always been helpful and courteous. The Microtel, in our opinion, provides better service and cleaner rooms that the more expensive chain hotels in the region. The breakfast bar is always well stocked and, even when busy, has plenty of space to enjoy a quick bite or a leisurely start to the day. Overall, the best value and experience in the Finger Lakes!"

"Upon arrival we found a clean, peaceful property with a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room and bedroom. The entrance foyer and sitting/dining area was warm and inviting. Outside we discovered a comfortable campfire area with a walking space including a small pond. Each evening we were serenaded by frogs and insects into a soothing sleep. We were awakened gently by cool air and sunshine. Penn Yan has a general store which we visited on the way down, providing all of our grocery needs. Although there are great restaurants and sights in the area, we were looking for a quiet get away, so we stayed put. And loved it."
