"Would be nice to have more than one teabag in the room and more coffee and milk. The milk had gone off. The teaspoons were dirty so wasn’t very nice to have that in the morning. On the positive side, lovely size room love the smell of the shower gel body cream, et cetera, and plenty of towels"

"Really great hotel, modern n and pretty. Only problem was that we tried to phone reception at 11pm because of noise from someone on our hall but couldn't get a hold. Otherwise the staff were amazing, really helpful and prepared the romantic surprise package beautifully."

"Loved how close this location was to the city center! Very easily within walking distance of about all that you would want to do in Braintree (aside from the outlet mall on the edge of town). The continental breakfast; however, was a little lacking. Nothing very substantial included in it, mostly just pastries and cereal. The hotel is also in an older building, so lots of up and down and doors to navigate through, so this may be an issue if you struggle with mobility. Great stay overall and incredibly fair for the price!"

"The room was fine, good size, clean, everything in working order. However, the room was extremely hot with no air conditioning and there was a lot of noise from outside. Staff were very helpful, allowed us to check in early but unable to change our room to reduce heat or noise as the hotel was full. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice."
