Just right for a night or 2 stay.

A lovely hotel that we've stayed in a few times before and never had a bad experience or any issues. Staff are very helpful and the breakfast is cooked fresh rather than being out on hot plates for an extended period of time.

Great hotels. We booked 3 rooms to attend a concert at Piece Hall Halifax. A 2nd visit. The hotel is perfect. Good parking. Very clean good room a large bath in my room. Perfect. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, thank you Nichola.

I have visited this hotel fairly regularly over the last 4 years and I am always struck by the fact it is the same staff, which is unusual in hospitality. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Sleeping on the dance floor

There was a disco in the room opposite our bedroom. Our bed might as well have been on the dance floor. Eventually quietened down just after 11pm.

Nice overall

Overall a nice hotel. My room was a suite, which was a larger room with a sofa bed. Nice. Lovely bathroom but sadly water pressure and temperature were pretty abysmal. Wifi good. Bed average. Duvet too small for a couple

The environment was generally clean. As hot as the weather, no air conditioning on the rooms . Although when I requested for a van , I got one. But fans are not good for my hay fevers

Good hotel, clean and functional

Stayed for one night as my daughter's were attending a concert in Halifax. Room was spacious and clean. The tiles over the bath could have done with a good scrub as the grouting was mouldy but I imagine the cleaner doesn't get enough time to do that. We were in room 25 which was over the restaurant and had vents outside the window on a flat roof. Don't stay in this room with young children as it might be tempting to climb out, which would be very easy to do. Receptionist was very friendly and professional.

Beware when booking that there is a DJ that doesn’t stop until 1am. Family rooms are right above it! I didn’t realise on booking this was the case unfortunately meaning very little sleep for us and our little girl. Breakfast was lovely and staff were friendly though. On the basis of the noise it’s just not worth it and wouldn’t ever go back.

Sta well away if they are hosting a wedding

The hotel does warn guests that it often hosts weddings on a Saturday. Beware as it is quite small for such events and the disco noise will ensure that you get no sleep until gone midnight. Taking into account guests returning to their rooms in high spirits then it may be gone 1am before things really quiten down. Hotel is OK for priice paid but unless you are wedding guests stay well clear when they are hosting such events.
