"What an incredible property! The location was perfect for a short stay not far from our home in Bristol, and all our guests were blown away by the building. Perfect for a cosy January weekend with all our friends, and dog friendly as a bonus. The host was also excellent at responding to my initial queries and providing arrival instructions. "We used the house for a belated Xmas family gathering. There were 11 of us. The house was very clean and very big. It had games, a pool table a hot tub and a barbecue. That entertained us so much we almost couldn't be bothered to go out sight seeing. In summer you would be able to sit out in the garden but this was January and rather rainy.The only glitch was the first two cars to arrive couldn't find the house. We used satnavs and Google maps. The main road was very busy. Once we had worked out it was between two Chinese restaurants and had black and white posts outside it we were fine.The teenagers were delighted to have a room with a double bed all to themselves. The kitchen, two living rooms and the barbeque hut were big enough to hold our whole family comfortably."

"Nice room on the ground floor, although large window looked directly out onto a busy carpark, meaning everyone could see inside the room - perhaps some shades would help. Wi-Fi a bit iffy. Staff very nice and and meal in the evening was excellent."

"Such a lovely place to stay & perfect for a base to get in & out of Bath centre on the park & ride in Newbridge. Great sleep & best full English breakfast. First night we had dinner & dessert off the menu which was A*. However, after eating in Bath the second night we didn’t want much & had cheesy chips of the starter menu which were top notch. Staff were all really friendly & helpful. All been there for years! Highly recommend & we will go back."
