"Property is very quiet and in a location that is a five minute walk to the main strip of restaurants, cafes, bars etc The property is only 20 mins from the airport by taxi and is associated with a beach bar a couple of mins walk away that you go to for breakfast and use of the beach and pool. "Staff were great, everything was clean, food was great. I only have 2 complaints really, 1. Between meals the snack bar didnt have much to eat so if you missed a meal even by a small bit you were stuck til the next meal. 2. The entertainment wasnt great. It felt like the activity people had a budget of like 0 bucks and mostly just played music. Would be nice to have more to do at the resort."

"We had the most wonderful 2 week stay at La Mer de Crete. We were a family of 8 adults. The villa was perfect, well equipped, spotlessly clean and very spacious. A lovely pool area with beach towels included and excellent views over the sea. The hosts greeted us on arrival and were so very helpful throughout our stay. They supplied us with a welcome basket, which was a lovely touch. We hired a car during our stay which was a must as Agia Pelagia was a bit of a long walk. It has a lovely beach surrounded by restaurants, bars and little shops. We were sad to leave but take lots of very special memories with us. Highly recommended this villa, you will not be disappointed."

"Was a lovely experience made wonderful by the host and owners who were so lovely and welcoming and helpful. It was a way from the main town which was really amazing with great beach and restaurants. You would need a car. Also the pool is very small in the apartment we were in, but I’m a beach person. Clean and compact. The other apartments were considerably bigger. The garden will look spectacular in a year. There is a very good restaurant at the little resort over the road too. "
