"Calme et confortable "

"Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night...

"Fantastic place with large secure garden. We didn’t travel as much as expected because we had trouble dragging the kids out of the pool / away from the games barn. When we did the nearby lake with canoeing, beach and play park was great. Very eclectic location - not luxurious but really well equipped for a self catering family. "

"Lovely house, very comfortable and well equipped for a family for two weeks near to climbing areas. Fireplace with a good supply of firewood very welcome for chilly spring evenings. Very helpful and friendly host, tolerant of my limited french language skills! We would recommend and definitely stay again."

"We stayed a week in the House. We chose the House, because it was private, with a Big private garden, indoor pool, spa and sauna. The privacy was important to us, as our oldest child is autistic and is anxious around strangers. Well, it turned out, that an elderly man lived in one of the sheds in the garden with his large dog. He was drinking a lot of alcohol, and at one point he disapeared and left the dog locked up in the shed. Turned out he was hospitalized with alcoholpoisoning while the...
