"Nice resort , clean room and common areas. Plenty staff, so really quickly available to assist. The food is better than average all inclusive resorts, we found the Navigator and Chinola dinner menu the best. The beach is practically not enjoyable because of the sargassum, despite their daily huge effort to clean it, I suspect without that, it would be much worse. The spa is phenomenal!! The water park is small but probably great for young kids; mine was a little too old ( 12 ) for that. Overall had a nice, relaxing trip."

"Sanctuary Cap Cana was amazing but not for everyone. If you are looking for a party with a lot of activities to keep you busy then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a low key, relaxing getaway then this is it. Its not a newer, modern resort like some - the main area is modeled after an old Spanish Town. However, the staff, food, and overall vibes made it one of the best vacations ever. Depending on where you stay, which there are a lof of options and not one area is the same, you may have a Butler (Stayed in the Castle). He attended to all your needs, reservations, etc. Food was good to excellent depending on where you ate. We were there offseason and they rotated which restaurant (all with a different vibe) was open from night to night. Breakfast and lunch were buffet style where they served from behind glass and options rotated daily. There are six pools, four in the main area with two in the Castle. Beach was closed due to the seaweed and it was relatively small, but its a small resort. All the staff, from the wait staff to the pool attendants to the management were attentive, engaging and polite. We highly recommend."

"Amazing respect for an affordable price! The beach did have tons of sargassum so we stuck to the pools but it was sargassum season so no fault of the resorts! They were out actively cleaning it everyday. Beautiful resort with pretty good food. We went for a girls trip and had a great time"
