Easy and friendly check in and a lovely comfy clean room. Plenty of parking available and in a lovely area and only 15 minutes from the NEC. It’s a shame we didn’t have time to use the gym and pool but we’ll be back.

Clean room, comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast.
It is an historic hotel so full of old charm. The evening and breakfast menu was excellent and the bar always available. The room was clean and comfortable with all standard amenities provided
What a fantastic hotel. Full of character and style. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Big bathroom that was well decorated with stylish tiling and was warm with a nice shower and big bath. Room was serviced daily and supplied with replacement tea and coffee, towels and toiletries. I think the only thing that was missing was a small fridge (I have my own milk which I like to keep cool), but that was just just a minor point really. The only criticism I have was when I went for dinner one night (I wasn’t planning to) there was only the Christmas menu and as with most places this time of year the price was very high and although the quality was ok it wasn’t good value for money. But overall the hotel itself was great.
Wouldn’t stay here again. Firstly on arrival good luck avoiding getting a tire change from all the pot holes in the car park. The hotel looks nice on the outside and whilst I appreciate the building is old, it’s not the quietest place. Noisy pipes all night, noisy staff very early in the morning. Showers were awful - you’d be better stood out in the rain than the shower. Lovely areas but a relaxing stay it was not.
