This hotel is lovely. The restaurant is 25 floors up, so fantastic view of Birmingham city. The meals/food was brilliant.

Hotel was great, nice rooms and bar etc but air conditioning wasn’t working and no cold water flowing through the shower only very hot water. When discussed with hotel staff on reception, they were rather rude to customers.

Hotel rooms were clean and modern. Unfortunately the air-conditioning wasnt working in any of the rooms, we were provided with a useless fan which just circulated the hot air meaning our room was 28°c all night.

A very good hotel close to the city centre and New Street rail station. We had a very good night's uninterrupted sleep and a very good breakfast. Recommended.

Rude reception staff. Non communicative when there was mix up with my reservation. Had to call Expedia myself (who were brilliant). Also had no aircon in ALL the rooms (their answer was "we don't state we have aircon"). Not great when the windows don't open! Left and found somewhere with the most basic amenities.

Terrible - stay away

Air conditioning in the room (any rooms) not working, complained and got appalling service at reception, no offering compensation. Terrible sleep. Next morning shower and sink taps were red hot so could only just manage a shower.

No air conditioning and the rooms are too hot, everyone complaining. The hotel knows this, but don't plan on fixing it. No windows to open, only a fan if you request it, which is loud and just blows hot air around. Rooms are showing signs of neglect, like worn out fixtures and TV remote broke, tarnished bathroom fittings etc Will we return to this hotel in the future - "Not a Chance"
