"The Olde House was quite a surprise and seemed very popular with local people and seemed busy whilst we stayed there for three nights. The Carpark was enormous and during the day was being used by people learning to drive motorcars. Inside the building had many levels to choose from, where to sit. Our bed-room was a good size although the bathroom did not have any grab handles around the bath/shower tub. The food was ordered at the bar and was reasonably good, although I had an expensive main course which came with a stone cold/frozen corn on the cob and a staff member took it away, and rather than give me a fresh one, returned it 50% cooked and still partially frozen. I did not to eat it and I discarded it. Chap I was sat with had ordered a steak on curry night and was told that the restaurant had run out of steak knives? We did like our stay at Olde House and the bedrooms were quiet and clean."

"Loved every second. It’s a little piece of heaven. Owners were super lovely and helpful and available if needed. The cottage had everything and we didn’t want to leave. Local walks and sites were gorgeous and close by to pub and village amenities. Can’t wait to go back"

"The staff was very welcoming. But the rooms are old and not everything was clean (hair in the shower, coffee stains on the wall, etc.). First room I got,102, is a special needs room, I guess that was the only one available. After the first night I started getting headaches because of a very strong musty smell. Luckily I could switch rooms and everything was fine."

"Lovely room and atmosphere. Very comfortable bed and great vegetarian breakfast offering. What a nice place. Only issue was a cold shower (it took a very long time to find any warmth) and that it didn't drain very well. Otherwise, a very nice stay, thank you. "

"The house was pretty much as photographed, except there was more cosmetic damage throughout and clutter on the bench tops. We could not locate a plug for the kitchen sink and the garage was quite messy with full bins. Our stay was comfortable and we had booked only for the location, not the accommodation specifically so it was fine. All instructions were clear and the house was easy to navigate. "
