The Royal Oak is a lovely pub just a little off the main road, so nice and quiet. We were greeted by name, which was lovely being so far from home. The room was charming, well sized and bright with plenty of fresh air through the windows. All the staff were very friendly and for breakfast there was a fair selection of cereals with toast and "full English" cooked breakfast available. Burford is a beautiful Cotswold village with stone houses and lots of pubs offering food. A lovely...

Our stay was amazing and we stayed an extra night. Staff were so helpful and friendly, bar/rest spaces were incredible with open fire to warm the room. Fantastic bar snacks as we weren't overly hungry on arrival. Great free breakfast and the best coffee we'd had since being abroad. Room was super comfortable and beautifully finished and clean. Plenty of pillows and comfy bed. We just love this place. BTW - the play list of an evening was elite.
