The place was every bit as cute as the pictures promised (and honestly, even more charming in person). This little Victorian gem was the perfect cozy spot for a relaxing weekend getaway.It’s ideal for a couple looking for a romantic escape, or even a solo traveler wanting some peace and quiet. "The place was clean and comfortable. Only issue was the furnace stopped working. We returned around 11 and the temp in the unit was 66 degrees. I messaged the seller and called VRBO. VRBO said that a supervisor would return my call and that since this issue is urgent they should call back. They never called me back. The owner responded in the morning. By that time it was 63 in the living room and the bedrooms were freezing. The second night was not comfortable due to the cold. "

"This home was spacious and clean. We had 4 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of room for all. We stayed over a cold, Holiday weekend but we were warm and cozy inside with a well-equipped kitchen to keep our culinary interests engaged, as we had all the tools we needed. The home is very close to the Indiana Dunes National Park so we took a day trip there. Great long weekend. Scott was available and helpful as needed."
