Location so close to Indiana Dunes was perfect. Breakfast didn’t look as well displayed as some hotels but quality was good - some things eg apples, yoghurt and milk hiding in fridge. Pastries were good quality.

Front staff helpful although wasn’t able to check in early. Room clean enough and comfortable. Breakfast okay. Protein (eggs and sausage ) available although not that tasty. Coffee not great. Great location to parks. Could use updating but would still stay again due to great parking and location. Trash piled on deck while we were eating lunch there. Workers finally got trash prior to us finishing lunch

They came in so clutch for us! We were staying at another local place when the power went out and left us with no electricity or running water. They let us check in early and welcomed us with a hot breakfast... We were so relieved! The kids loved the pool- charming little place. We'll be back!

Pros: Good breakfast, nice in room hot tub, balcony's face wooded lot, restaurant and bar on site, great staff. Cons: Very dated, no chairs on balconies and AC condensation constantly dripping, variable, irregular hours at bar and restaurant due to lack of help and / or customers, no elevators.

“A Woodsy Retreat”… Great location if you’re wanting to explore the National Park. No elevator to the upstairs made it hard for a young family to stay and bring everything into the room. Better suited for couples. The pool was nice, and breakfast was good. The back patios were too buggy in the summer to enjoy, but it looked like it could be nice another time. Staff was kind and helpful.

This was a most peaceful stay and the location is amazing. The hotel is exactly as pictured and the staff were very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast was very good as well. I would recommend to anyone to stay here.

Hotel needs updating. Broken room doors. Cracked floors in rooms. Some employees were good, others worked there but couldn't give you suggestions on where to eat, its part of working at the front desk. Knowing your surroundings.

The property was clean and decorated nicely with antiques, etc and sat on a nice area with trees and pretty views. The staff was ok, though not overly friendly compared to other places we have stayed. We liked that coffee was available 24/7. There is not an elevator so if you have heavy bags, you will want to stay on the main floor.
