"The Compass is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in a while. That's saying something because we've stayed in about a dozen hotels in the last two months alone.
The location is perfect for visiting Flagler Beach. It's surrounded by excellent espresso cafes, restaurants, and shopping and is a few steps from the Atlantic Ocean and the Flagler Pier.
Staff is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast offerings are somewhat better than average and the house coffee is definitely a cut above.
We'll be heading back to the area in the next few months and we will not consider staying anywhere other than the Compass."

Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying an adult beverage on the balcony with an ocean view was truly special.The unit itself was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated to reflect a breezy coastal vibe. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed.Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and friendly throughout our stay.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation!"

Literally, you just walk across the street and go down the private access to the ocean. The grill outside was a plus and so were the chairs where you can sit and have morning coffee.
