"It was nice to be able to get on and off the Havila Voyages cruise ship nearby. To get to Bergen Airport, I went to the stop, which was only two minutes away, twice to wait for the B50 and B51 buses, but they never came. So I gave up and went to Bybanen in the central area. They don't accept cash, so I paid 25kr with a credit card. The ride to the airport was about 40-45 minutes. I got my tax refund at the book shop, which I used to get my credit card (they don't give cash). There was no money exchange. I think I'll have to go to the US and exchange it for US dollars."

"We stayed at Zander K for Beyond the Gates festival. Amazing location. Walking distance to the concert venues. We didn’t have any issue with the street noise because we were there for the Metal festival. We will definitely stay at Zander K again. Very clean, modern and amazing breakfast options. Highly recommended. "

"Great hotel and really great for the price. Huge selection of healthy breakfast buffet items - I really appreciated the GF and DF options and salad items. Loved having a gym for my morning treadmill run and workout. The lounge area is really comfy and spacious and perfect for relaxing or working. My room was so nice and spacious and modern, with lots of light coming in the large window. Short 10 minute walk to the pier area for tours and restaurants. I liked this part of town as well. There are some cute cafes and shops along the cobblestone streets. The staff at the front desk were all really helpful and friendly. I had a glass of white wine one evening and it was a really good quality Italian wine! I found the hotel had a nice vibe around the common areas and reception. Thanks for a great stay. I highly recommend! "

"The location is amazing and makes this hotel the spot you should highly consider! The bathroom is itty bitty but all the bathrooms but they utilized it well. They did not have AC similar to all the shops and other hotels. So the temperature could be an issue if you are unlucky and it’s a rare 80 degree day. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Food was way better than I would expect. "

"The staff here were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always fresh with plenty of choice. It is very conveniently located. The bus station, shops, Bryggen and the Floibanen funicular are all within a 10 to 15 minute walk. The rooms are a little dated but this is a minor issue. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay."
