Room was nice and clean. Could have been better if there is a bath robe and slippers. Breakfast is excellent. Staff are very accomodating. Location is perfect.
Beautiful property, great location near train and bus stations, and city park. Excellent food at the hotel bar. Great views from the room.
Would have liked to stay there on our return trip, but the price had gone up too much in two days!
Looks iffy from the outside, but it's a good location. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are big in comparision to most Scandinivian hotels. There is a terrace which was a nice place to sit. We wished the hotel had a better bar area though.
Our of date room. Dust on electric water kettle, cup and spoon. Stained carpet in the room. Shower water splatter out from bottom of the glass doros to the bathroom floor. Definitely not worth the price. Location is good close to public transit.
The hotel is just across this street from the train and bus station, which made it very convenient on our arrival by train from Oslo. This hotel and our room were impeccably clean., and quiet. The staff were so accommodating. If only US hospitality was this good. We has a Superior King so our room was reasonably sized, and the bathroom actually had some counter space. Like most European hotels, ice is a rare commodity, and we would simply ask the bar for a bucket of ice and they would happily provide one. All of the desk staff served as wonderful concierge’s when asked.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and very clean room modern room. Fantastic breakfast with the excellent additional option of paying to create your own picked lunch box from the buffet. With the cost of food in Bergen so high it was much appreciated by us.
Highly recommended
Thank you
The staff at the front desk was extra helpful especially the tall gentleman with the beard. Didn’t get his name. Marius at the bar upstairs was very helpful and friendly as well. It was close to the downtown without too much of a walk and very close to the train station which worked for us going to Oslo on Sunday.

For an expensive hotel close to the city center of Bergen, we were surprised by how outdated our room was. The carpet was worn and the room decor was very 1990s. The breakfast was very good and worth the money. We wouldn’t stay there again.
Perfect location for traveling by train or by bus, it was just a short walk You need to take a short train ride to the airport at the central station, but the schedule is frequent. The lobby was cozy with comfortable sofas and chairs. You need to pay for breakfast buffet but worthwhile, but not much variation from day to day. The room was clean. Our bathroom had a bath tub with a shower, so it might not be easy to get in and out.for some people. The staff was friendly and helpful.
A lovely hotel, clean and modern rooms, fantastic breakfast and perfectly located to the main points of interest. All staff were soo friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.
The breakfast was excellent Sad that The Roast Restaurant was closed due to Easter which was not advertised in UK The Ørnen served fast food which in my opinion was shocking Sandra the receptionist was excellent and very good at her job
Clean room and great breakfast. Only minor thing which could have been better was more plug sockets next to the bed, only had one and only on one side.
The hotel was conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Bergen Station, making it easy to get around even with luggage.
The breakfast, which was included in the room rate, offered a wide variety of options and was very good.
Since we arrived before check-in time, we planned to leave our luggage and go sightseeing. However, the luggage storage room was unlocked and accessible to anyone, which raised some security concerns. As a result, we decided to pay for an early check-in at 2:00 p.m., which cost an additional €15.
The room was clean and comfortable, and we did not experience any particular inconveniences during our stay.
The hotel is in a great location to explore Bergen and is easy to get to via a bus or train from the airport. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only negative was the room's windows faced the communal elevator area, so we had to have the curtains drawn at all times for privacy and to attempt to block out the very bright lights that stayed on all night. Aside from that, it was very peaceful and we enjoyed our stay.

Our "Standard room" was fully internal, with the window looking out into the lobby. This meant we had some light from the lobby coming through the top of the curtains at all times of the night. The windows also looked directly out to where people wait for the elevators so naturally we felt we needed to shut these most of the time for privacy.
The rooms lighting was very dark, the main light in the actual room was from a picture of an eagle above the bed. This was particularly noticeable as we weren't getting any natural light and we had to have the curtains closed for privacy.
Bed was comfortable, shower had good pressure but the drain was blocked meaning the bath filled up substantially when showering - the water was up to my ankles. Pretty gross.
AC was loud and didn't feel particularly effective.
Mini fridge was great. Check in was quick and easy. Location is great, easy walk into Bergen and near bus station and tram stop.
