Therr was no a/c could use ceiling fans.
This hotel was very nice. The staff very courteous and helpful. The only negative was there was no air conditioning, I did not sleep well due to the room being warmer than I prefer.

Central location, disappointing stay
First time staying while on work trip. Stayed for 5 nights and checked out on Sun. Quick check-in, friendly reception. Room is a little dated but clean and comfortable bed. Wifi not working for 2 days and unstable for most part. No AC or ventilation for half my stay - was informed it's a state regulation to turn off AC during winter and only heater is available, only solution was to open windows for ventilation (and typical air pollution). Key card didn't work twice on last day and requested for replacements - issue was caused by my trip extension confirmed before arrival in Beijing, the room type for 4 nights was different from the last night. On Sun 12am when I returned to my room and was stuck outside, I was informed by staff, Alex the cause of the issue and that I had 2 options, either to pack and move out then to another room type or pay the balance to stay in the same room. Not ideal as it is a late notice and inconvenient to move when I'm to check out a couple hours later. He said I should have received a call earlier to notify of these options but I was around till noon and didn't get a call or message. Also, the receptionist had confirmed my room type for the whole trip till Sun check-out. I was not pleased and requested to speak to the Guest Relations Manager instead. He later came back with a replacement key card and mentioned the hotel will extend a free upgrade to stay in the same room this time, but the damage was done - wifi, AC, staff...

Not worth the price.
Great location but that is the only plus point. Overpriced for what you get as the room was very old and in need of renovation, the onsite restaurant and bar is grossly overpriced, the checkin and checkout was very slow plus the wifi connection was very poor.

Ok if all you are looking for is convenience
Very dated room. Not my first time staying there but you don't get an upgrade for being a regular guest. Also, the room was not very clean where I found hair in the toilet. Intentionally left the hair there and it was still not cleared over the next few days I stayed there. Room has a rather bad smell too. Only reason why I stayed there was the location. Close to key subway stations and my banks.

Traders- highly recommended
Been many times. Very nice hotel and the traders club lounge is great. There is no pool but you can use the superb pool facilitues of the China World Trade next door. Downside is the area is very expensive for food/shopping.

Internet and Room Location
I've stayed here a number of times. The location is decent for business travel but the internet really lets the place down. The wifi was super slow on all my devices making it hard work and communicate with business partners and family. I also had trouble arranging a quiet rook location. I requested a quiet room on my reservation and again when I checked in and they still tried to place me a noisier location. I sorted it out eventually but don't want the hassle when I am traveling overseas. I have stayed here several times now and will consider other hotels in the future.

Business hotel in financial district
The hotel check in was not particularly friendly and no one helped with luggage. I stayed in the Club area so service there was much more friendly. Breakfast in the club was OK but not fantastic. The hotel is next to China World complex and here is an extensive upmarket shopping complex underneath the complex.

There on business while others were booked in @ China World opposite at 3 times the price. Apart from the fact that they were rebuilding the areas, so physically getting there was a bit round about, it was ideal for what I was looking for.

Quick weekend in Beijing for Chinese New Year
Needed a place to stay close to line 1. Good location for Chinese New Years visit, shopping available. Room a bit small and dated, but solid Wi-Fi & great cleaning service.

Great location.
A hotel in great location. 5 subway stations to Tian An Men Square. Hotel is old but has been renovated lately. Very convenient as it is very close to a subway station. You can ride the subway to any part of Beijing without being stuck in traffic jams.

Chose club room and enjoyed the included afternoon tea, happy hour drinks/snacks and quiet breakfast with good choice on the buffet in the Traders Club lounge. (However, it would be nice if this was introduced on checking in, as wouldn't have known about it without reading previous reviews.) Hotel room was quiet and had a nice large comfortable bed and bathroom included tub. However, overall the room was on the small side and it would be nice to have 2 armchairs instead of only 1. Hotel connects to mall with very high end shops, but also good eating options. Enjoyed the Steak Factory. Less than 10 mins walk from the Silk Market for more down-to-earth shopping.

Comfy bed but old room facility
I have stayed in traders for many times, this hotel is with good location for sure in China World area, however the hotel is very old, especially the bath room, although room is very clean, and bed is super comfort. But for some clients looking for new modern hotel, then traders wouldn't be a good choice.

Outdated hotel with good staff
The rooms were pretty outdated, with old furnitures and stained carpets and walls. I definitely needs a major transformation especially when it's located in one of the expensive/luxury areas of Beijing. On the bright side, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Especially the doorman and the girl from business centre were very initiative (something that's rare nowadays) and friendly. If I do choose to stay here again, it would only be because of the location. However I prefer Wangfujing area more.
