A stopover on our tour around France and Italy, and is a place we'd always wanted to see.
Its a lovely hotel, steeped in history clearly. . Very well located, and offers excellent service, food and accommodation.
Few minor irks? It's bloody expensive, and the rooms are very small, but we suspect those are Monaco related issues, common everywhere.
pleasant stay. friendly staff. limited restaurants. requested king size bed in de-luxe suite, only offered 2 queens-- not the same!!!
crazy design in elevators, falling apart or feel like it when in use- hide covered metal walls moving when touched.
breakfast buffet good but expensive.
We had a really enjoyable time in Monaco and the Hotel de Paris enhanced the experience. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and felt we should celebrate in style in Le Grill restaurant on the 8th floor at the top of the hotel. The food was good, staff were attentive and we had a really enjoyable experience.

"Very good location. Close to shopping and Casino. "
The Fairmont hotel is extremely well located next to lots of shopping... Mostly very high end shopping, and a stones throw from the famous Casino.
The hotel is a little older but well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and large with balconies. The sound however travels between rooms and I could hear conversations next door.
The pool area is fabulous and in the summer converts to a night club with DJ's. The pool is also kept at a very nice warm temperature.
Everything is expensive here. Tea in the lobby bar was 8.50 euros, continental breakfast was 24 euros, and a small size water bottle from the mini bar was 6 euros.
If you are willing to spend a lot of money it's a great place to stay. But in Monte Carlo that is not unexpected.
