"The mini blinds did not work properly, they smelled of marijuana. We used a bedspread to cover the open space. The room seemed to be clean. No lighting in the shower (water pressure was good). The lighting around the mirror was not very good. The deadbolt did not work ( it had the turning part on the door), but the plunger that makes it a deadbolt did not work because it was not there!! The girl at check in was very nice. I wanted a receipt of my credit card charge but she said since I booked on line she couldn't print it out. There should have been a way. With a name like The NEW Hochatown Lodge I expected it to be better!"

"Our stay at the Rio Vista property could not have been better. The communication from the home owner was top notch. The home was beyond gorgeous. The views were incredible. The price point was very reasonable. We had 7 women on the property and we had plenty of room to relax. One of the best parts - was the dining table was big enough to fit our whole group. It was so nice to come around the dinner table and make more memories with some of the most important people in my life. "

"This cabin is absolutely lovely with a wrap-around deck that included a hot tub and grill. There was seating on the deck and also down in the yard around the fire pit. The driveway is a steep downward angle, but it was not a problem. The yard is on a hill and only had a small area of grass due to all the pine needles, but the pups were fine with that, and the pines just made for a lovely sight with the full moon in the sky at night. There are other cabins nearby so you may hear some noise at night if young adults are on Spring Break, for example. It did not detract from the peaceful stay one bit as all but the closest one are pretty much out of immediate view when you are on the deck. The hosts responded very quickly when I let them know the propane tanks were running out for the grill just as an FYI for them. They provided excellent recommendations in a large variety of activities/restaurants in the area! It was a very smooth trip due to the communication they provided ahead of time. I would highly recommend this gorgeous cabin that is near so many great hiking areas and restaurants in the Broken Bow and Hochatown area. For two work-weary sisters and their pups, it was relaxing and enjoyable and beautiful inside and out! Thank you, Karen & Michael for a wonderful stay at your cabin! "

"This home was spacious and beautifully done. However, the house seems to have been neglected in the cleaning area. There was hair and dirt everywhere, everything wasnt cleaned from the last rental and you could tell. One of the toilets had old pee on the seats, there were bugs in beds, some beds had stains on the bedding. None of the outdoor furniture was usable due to build up of pollen, dirt, mold. Its clear no one has cleaned or wiped those items down in a while. The road that leads to the house is a horrible and seemingly dangerous experience in my opinion. The road is full of holes, sharp turns, one narrow lane. We couldn't even leave the house but once because of how dangerous road leading to the house was and it shouldn't be traveled to at night. The house was beautiful but it lacked in the areas that mattered due to accessibility and cleanliness. "
