"It was refreshing to have a young staff cohort that were helpful and laid back, with nothing being a problem for them. I did however feel a bit sorry for the two girls that were running the show on a Saturday night, checking in, running the bar and food service. I would recommend."

"Wow what a great place to stay and eat. The hotel is spotless and our room was a lovely size and really comfortable. The pub is just opposite and it had a great atmosphere and we received a great welcome from the staff who were all brilliant. After some drinks we had dinner and the food was really fresh and cooked perfectly and really reasonably priced. Breakfast was included you help yourself to the buffet table which had plenty of choice then we had a full English. Just like dinner the food was great quality and cooked perfectly. We will definitely book again amazing place "

"I didn’t have time to stay for Breakfast but it looked amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The building is a delightful example of a traditional coaching house and in perfect location to explore the area and attractions. My room was cosy and comfortable with everything I needed. Will definitely try and book here again next time I have an event to attend in the area."
