"The property and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the distance from the town of San Pedro. Ten miles is a lot when the mode of transportation is a golf cart and the road is bumpy and dusty. However, if you’re looking to get away from the town and just have a relaxing trip, there is no place better than Sapphire Beach Resort."

"We loved our stay at the dock house. Isis made the very best meals. Henry and Isis were very attentive to our needs and didn’t stay distant but we became friends! We felt very safe. The sea had sargassum - thanks for your honesty in the dock house info about possibly having sargassum- so it was great to have the pool. Henry even got a private snorkeling guide out to the dock to pick us up and we never had to drive some where to a tour guide. Wow!! Thank you, Max, for being easy to contract and helpful in adjusting our stay time. Thanks again to everyone who made our stay amazing!"

"The staff at the hotel are outstanding, super helpful, and Norman in particular is a real all-star. The main issue is something pretty outside their control: the beach outside the hotel is covered with a giant mass of stinking seaweed. This plagues just about all places in the area, but everyone traveling there should be aware that this is an issue. But the staff are awesome. They cook us a lovely breakfast every morning and they show us beaches on other parts of the island. Well done Norman!"

"the resort was beautiful. loved the pool the kitchen was very nice .very clean. Eiden was very nice and helpful...activity director Karen was awsome and very helpful . making sure all our activities were set up. due to mother nature the beach was not available but there were other beaches near by. karen booked us a tour to check out the Mayan ruins and cave tubing with lunch included. we had an awsome time.....Eddy and Mike {tour guides} were really cool and made sure everyone was comfortable and was having a great time ,they also were very knowledgeable"

From the caretaker Luis to an amazing chef Dominic and all the way to property management of Brittany and Keelan… I definitely had tons of communication with them back-and-forth and everything went smoothly! "10/10 would recommend this place to anyone! The property was massive. The villa was beautiful. The grounds crew cleared the seaweed from the beach and raked the sand, daily. Everyone that worked there was friendly. The concierge, Terri, was very helpful. The nearby restaurants were great (El Norte, Tranquility, Moon bar, Casa Alegre). It was a bit of a trek from the city (40 minutes by golf cart), but not too secluded like some spots further north. It’s perfect for anyone that wants a comfortable stay while exploring all of Ambergris Caye."
