We had 2 nights in June at the motel. The Art Deco detail was lovely , our room was beautiful with a mix of original and reproduction pieces. We found the attached resterant and surrounding shops were fantastic.

The big open windows in the room were great to watch the sunrise/set. Need to be careful with little ones as they can climb the chairs and potentially fall out of windows.
All in all, was a great location especially with the beach and ocean spa across the road.
Neat and tidy venue with a nice restaurant to enjoy a quiet drink or two as well as dining in meal options.

Was a pit stop on a trip to pick up item bought on Trade Me. Went through Trivago and was one of the cheapest that looked clean and appealing. Was just across the road from the RSA which had a fantastic meal for $27 and Motel shouted us a drink!! Also less than a minutes walk to the beach and shops. Would highly recommend Bella Vista, but if you want to spend longer in Napier I'd look at a bigger room as it was quite small. Oh EXCELLENT shower by the way and comfy bed. What more can you...

We were on about relaxation and good dining and Mangapapa was the perfect retreat. We used the exercise room, sauna and had massages. Then we enjoyed some sun by the pool and the joyful songs of the birds in the surrounding bush. In the evenings we were delighted with scrumptious cuisine and fine wine.

We traveled from Wellington (in fact I had flown in from Melbourne the previous day) to Havelock North so we could attend the Hawkesbay Races - just because we could. Luckily we were able to have an early check-in to spruce ourselves up. We loved the room (actually a 2 bedroom apartment with a private courtyard) & could not fault anything. The beds were to die for, the bathroom huge, everything pristine. Proximity to the village fabulous and managed to make a good contribution to the local...
