"Thank you so much for a great stay at The Moorings, Rhosneigr. We last visited Rhosneigr with our two children over 20 years ago and have just returned with one married with two young boys and the other with her boyfriend. The house was amazing and such a great space to spread out. We made full use of the barbecue, beach stuff and washing machine (will bring our own pegs next time) and the boys loved the snug as their playroom. Nice to have several options for dining and a spacious hallway. The garden was put to use as well and location was great for Broad Beach, which we prefer, both during the day and at night. The property was very clean and we loved the wine fridge, huge double fridge/freezer and having some cupboard space for our huge food shop!! Some of the pans were past their best and the knives were a bit blunt (again can bring our own). Mattresses could perhaps be a bit comfier and as a choice we would prefer one twin room upstairs to be swapped with the double bed downstairs to suit our family dynamic better. Overall the stay worked for us and the family loved it so much they asked me to rebook for next year - which I have done. Great base for visiting the rest of Anglesey and nice being able to park all cars on the drive. Look forward to returning next year with them all."

"We had a brilliant stay. Rooms all clean and very well furnished. Great secure garden with some nice decking to watch the shooting stars go by on a clear night. Didn't want to leave and we would definitely stay again. Thanks Elaine and the team."

"straightforward and clearly signposted, especially with the location details in advance. Spacious accommodation, very clean, plenty of linen and bathroom towels and everything worked. Garden very nice a and tidy and a pleasure to enjoy in the evening. One consideration would be to possibly increase the garden furniture. Nevertheless a vey good break in great surroundings."

"We had an enjoyable two night stay at Bryn Bach but that was more to do with where the little hideaway is situated as when we previously stayed here which was two years ago we found the place had deteriorated since then and the place was looking quite worn and tired. We got to stay on quite a good deal, but I wouldn’t have been happy if we had paid full price. The leather sofa looked extremely worn as all the padding had deteriorated in the cushions. The step to the outdoor area was coming away so it was slightly on a slant which I felt was quite dangerous. The outside was looking quite scruffy as the plants in the planters were looking like they were dying as nobody had been looking after them so we gave them a water and there were brambles coming on to the decked area from the surrounding fields as the fencing was old and they were coming through the cracks, and these brambles had large thorns on them so we cut these away as if you had knocked yourself on them they would have caused harm. The place is situated in a great area which is very peaceful and if you are into RAF Valley watching the fighter jets flying past this is a great place for that. The bed wasn’t the greatest either as whoever had done the bed before we had arrived hadn’t put the mattress protector on properly so there was bumps all over the place so the first night was very uncomfortable for the both of us until I pulled off all the sheets the next day and fixed the issue. The last time we stayed they had a different hot tub from than the Hikki tub and we preferred the other version as this Hikki tub seemed slimy like the wood had been wet for too long. The outside area is such a good space but due to it being quite neglected it wasn’t very appealing like it was the last time. We wouldn’t look to stay again as it just wasn’t as nice as the first time but if it was renovated we could have a change of heart as it really is situated in a lovely area. We would recommend Bryn Bach but only after the place has been updated."

"We had another really good week at Y Stabl, where we’ve been coming to for a few years.. The location is excellent, nice and peaceful with great views and just a mile or so from Rhosneigr centre.. The cottage itself does need a little bit of work but I believe the owners are aware eg bathroom modernisation, new washing machine and perhaps a new sofa etc but it’d still decent enough.. For us it’s the location and the peace.. booked for next year already but next door at The Granary as it looks slightly more modern inside but both are great."
