The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The thing I does not like most is the house keeping. They did not clean the cups one day. And they did not refill the instant coffee bags. If they could get it improved, I would stay in this hotel again.

Staff was amazing, but the room was not good: not an actual queen size bed, but two twin size pushed together. And water from the shower leaked under the glass into the bedroom and the bathroom put the user on display due to its glass walls and lack of soundproofing

Location of this property was fantastic. Beautiful neighborhood, and easy to walk places. Metro stop just a few blocks away that allows easy access to train station and airport. Facilities were a bit dated, but overall we had a great stay.

I loved this place. It was nice and comfortable. The hotel was very secure and the staff were amazing. The surrounding neighborhood has so many amenities in walking distance. Great restaurants, convenience stores, bars, and night clubs were all in walking distance. There were also nearby self service bicycle rental stands. Taxis and uber was abundant. Perfect location to check out the local culture, shopping, and the tourist must see spots.

The staff were very kind and helpful at all times Hôtel rooms were very clean but the pillows were very hard as were the beds. The beds were also too short for someone 6ft 1in as feet were left hanging over the end. Breakfast was very good for the price of approximately 10 euros with lots of options. The only slight I have with the hotel is in the lobby they must have air fresheners so if you have an intolerance to scents you can’t sit there. I would definitely stay at 1881 Barcelona Gran Rosellon again. 😊👍

Very clean and bright, uninspiring breakfast which we skipped so we could enjoy the local restaurants which were amazing. The staff were friendly enough but often busy, some being more attentive than others, while others being very kind and helpful. Overall really nice but basic hotel. The pool and amenities are disappointing. AC worked really well. Come here for a quiet night's sleep but a little pricey and generic overall.

The „gym“ is the biggest scam/joke. You literally have two treadmills in there that’s it. The rooms are build weirdly, bathroom was very nice, the beds were moving around with the smallest movement on it. The pool is dirty. Scan for this price and never 4 star, more like 2. The staff is the opposite, super nice and always willing to help. Safe yourself money and don’t go here.

Great location and friendly/helpful staff

The accommodations were clean and spacious. The location was excellent for exploring the city by foot. We enjoy walking so we didn't mind the 15-20 minute walk to the downtown hub of Barcelona. We had issues with the air conditioning unit in both rooms they set us up in - there was a loud humming noise which lasted about 10 seconds every time unit started cooling the room. The "pump" turned on every 45-60 seconds so this was very disruptive to our sleep all night. This went on all night every night and kept waking us up. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable but the units in both rooms behaved the same. I would book the hotel again, if they could fix the air conditioning issue. Staff was GREAT! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the 1881 Gran Rosellon Barcelona, and I'd like to provide an in-depth review. Overall, the 1881 Gran Rosellon Barcelona left a good impression. The location was excellent, making it easy to reach various attractions quickly and conveniently using public transportation. The rooms were spacious, and we had a large bathroom, which added to the comfort of our stay. Unfortunately, there were some aspects that affected our experience negatively at the 1881 Gran Rosellon Barcelona. Despite the information that the pool would be accessible until the end of November, it was inactive during our stay, which was disappointing. The beds in our room were quite uncomfortable, especially the pillows, which were very hard. Another downside was the Smart TV function on the television. While it was available, it didn't work because the TV was not connected to the internet. This is a minor issue that could be easily resolved and would undoubtedly make many non-Spanish-speaking guests happier. Overall, our stay at the 1881 Gran Rosellon Barcelona was mixed. The convenient location and spacious rooms were definite positives, but the inactivity of the pool, uncomfortable beds, and non-functional Smart TV feature diminished the overall experience. There is certainly room for improvement, and I hope these aspects are considered in the future to provide guests at the 1881 Gran Rosellon Barcelona with an even more enjoyable stay.
