"The hotel was lovely, the staff couldn't do any more to help us. The breakfast was very superior to any that we have had in a long time. Our room had an en-suite, coffee making facilities, hair dryer and one heck of an awesome view of the dales. The best part for us both was that they had a bar, so we could venture out during the day and rewind with a few drinks with our dinner. "

"This property was perfectly located for sightseeing in the region. We did Nottingham, York, and a bunch of beautiful things in between. The proximity to Chatsworth, Bakewell, Haddon Hall and other more local sights meant it was one of our few trips where we were able to have very short drives to very majestic places many days. Clean, quiet, tasteful, and comfortable, the property was excellent. It had ample parking that was easily accessible. The kitchen had every tool we needed. The town is peaceful with beautiful views and plenty of hiking and biking trails. It was one of few properties we've been to that never once lost wifi, ran out of hot water, or left us confused as to how to work an appliance. You really can't ask for more than that. Thank you for the wonderful week! "
"Booked the property then got suspicious of a load of 10/10 reviews that appeared overnight. I tried to cancel and heard nothing at all, sent multiple messages but nothing. No payment taken but really stressful wondering if they would take payment. It felt pointless booking through VRBO as they seemed to have no ability to cancel the booking on my behalf. I can’t comment on the check in, cleanliness or location as the booking did not go ahead, but I would never book with this host again as they were unable or unwilling to cancel the booking or communicate with me about anything. "

"Beautiful cottage nestled away from the main town but still centre is a couple of mins away . Lovely and quiet . Well equipped even to a much needed plaster when I cut my finger . Plenty of storage in the bedroom and a comfy bed . Bathroom is small but room to store your toiletries ."
"We had an amazing weekend for our anniversary! From the moment of booking I had great communication with the owners who were very responsive and accommodating. Our cottage was very comfy, cosy and clean. The facilities are amazing with dog paddocks, entertainments (pool table, football table, table tennis, board games, a great wide selection of dvds for the whole family, a kids corner with toys and books). Lots of personal touches (delicious homemade cake, handwritten note etc). We are already planning our next stay! It is also very well situated. "
