The house was great for me and my family. Plenty of space for us. The host was friendly and very detailed. Loved working with him. The house was clean and neat.

Good stay

Overall good place to stay and nice neighborhood. But very minimal items, enough towels for 5 people (no hand towels or wash cloths), enough large plates for only 5 people, only 1 kitchen towel. But we had issues with the back door opening and they came and fixed it ASAP. So great to communicate with. BUT FYI on the minimum supplies.

Decent Home unfortunately pots and pans as well as cups were filthy, there was such a strong odor from the restroom “drainage scent” but nothing you can’t stand.

I wish I would have spent the extra $10 a night to stay somewhere nicer

I want to start this by saying I do not normally write bad reviews and I am only doing so now so that other families can make informed decisions on where they stay. The owner was quick with communication. The area the home is located is nice and convenient to downtown Austin. I appreciated that dogs were allowed to stay free but that was the highlight of our stay. The house was loaded with exactly the bare minimum to qualify as livable. Beds are extremely uncomfortable and there was 1 pillow per head in the entire house. Exactly 1 towel for each body. Single ply toilet paper, and exactly one kitchen towel. The yard was full of the previous renters dog poop and there were zero tools provided for us to pick up after our own dogs, which we would have happily done. The house was cleaned surface level with cobwebs, and dust on each vent. I found a bag of "oregano" and a smoking utensil on top of the fridge, not very child friendly. If I could have gotten a refund the first night I would have, but as it stands the property was livable so I wouldn't have been granted one.
