"The placed worked out well for our trip, we had three families each needing their own room and bath. The location is very central in Austin, with an HEB less than 10 minutes away. It is loud outside - cars from the freeway and near a train track, but the windows do a decent job keeping the noise out when closed. Opportunity for more kitchen essentials to make meals easier."

"While the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, beware that if there is an onsite event they do not follow the sound ordnance prohibitions of West Lake Hills. We stayed over the weekend and they had two weddings scheduled where one had music blasting until 1:30 AM on Sunday. Normally I’m a heavy sleeper, but with the windows rattling it was impossible to rest. This tarnished an otherwise great stay at Hotel Viata."

"It's not well marked and a little hard to find. It's actually in a business office building. The staff was super nice, the room was clean and beds were comfy. We loved the location and ability to walk everywhere. Wish we had known more about the airport shuttle as we rented a car, paid $50 for parking and didn't use it. "

"No Toaster, no iron, small double bed, broken screen door to the deck, no light on the deck just an extension cord to bring out a lamp. Parked on street as there were other guests coming and going. Place was nice and clean with lots of windows but were difficult to open, painted shut or not easy to use. No a/c but the ceiling fans worked well and it cooled down at night so not too bad. No wine glasses so we used regular glasses. Nice residential neighborhood with a few breakfast restaurants nearby "
