Lovely bright cheerful place to stay, everything was so comfortable it was a pleasure to be able to stay, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was awesome

Lovely motel that had everything we needed for the night. We realised last minute that we actually needed early check-in and the staff were really really understanding and accommodating! We look forward to coming back in the warmer months.

Great staff & room was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately noisy neighbours on our second night disturbed our sleep returning late to their room & layout of rooms with entry doors right next to each other makes this an issue. Wouldn't stop us returning again though!

Matakana gem
Great hotel right in the hub of Matakana, nice easy walk to the shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms were clean and we had a nice big shower. Great facilities for kids, playground, trampoline, pool and petanque area. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location and Super Clean Rooms!
Very central spot and super clean rooms!!! The only down side was the Queen bed was a little uncomfortable, it rolled into the middle. Good wifi and spacious living area :-)

We had a lovely two-night stay at this motel. The location was awesome (but watch to get correct drive into parking lot). The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was well-equipped with kitchenette, dishes, free wifi, and had a lovely sitting area. The bath towels were nice also. Would definitely choose this property again!

We stayed at unit 2 . The light across from our door was so bright thru the night it felt like we had a light on in the room . Suggest a curtain over the glass window on the door

Thank you for your feedback, there is a roller blind that sits at the top of the door frame which rolls over the door that would've given you darkness and privacy. I'm sorry you didn't find this during your stay.

Great place for an escape to relax and recharge
Perfect for a midwinter break in Matakana. This is now a firm fixture for us, after 2 years on the trot to soak up the atmosphere of Matakana, Tawharanui and surrounds.

The motel is in an amazingly convenient location and great for those working, going to a wedding, or visiting the Matakana markets and local area. It's super clean and tidy and we had a two bedroom which was ideal for 5 people. The property has had a revamp since we last stayed and has been done really well. We have yet to use the pool as we've stayed in winter but it look really nice! We were arriving late so I rang Tanya to let her know. No problem at all as she had the room ready and the heater on. She also sent a text to confirm this and the WIFI password. Impressive! Highly recommend for anyone.
