    The staff was extraordinary! After check-in, my daughter realized she didn’t have her cellphone. When she went to the front desk to search for it, Ana told my daughter that the cabbie from the airport called and had found the phone in his cab, and would return it as soon as he finished his current fare. Through a series of events, it took until almost 10:00 pm to get the phone back to the hotel. My daughter’s anxiety really ramped up as we were leaving at 6:30 the next morning. Ana at the front desk called and left a message for me while we were at dinner, assuring us that the phone had been retrieved. Then, Ana and Lolo wrote a short story, from the telephone’s perspective, about its adventure in being lost. They included pictures of the phone “checking in”, having a vermouth at the bar, and being charged after getting so tired! Ana and Lolo left this little pictorial story in our room, and we just howled when we found it. This is quite a long review but was necessary to fully appreciate how extraordinary these employees are, and how caring the culture is in this hotel. I can tell you that wherever I may travel in the future, I will choose an Iberostar facility if one is available!…
