not bad at all for the price. room was small, but clean and tidy. owner very friendly and helpful. some people complain about the noise but thats what you get for booking a b&b in the heart of the town on a weekend. personally I found it absolutely fine, and a great location to get home after my own drinking and exploring
We stayed the night in Ashford in order to catch an early train to Brussels the next morning, so in preparing our trip I looked for lodgings near the station. Cornerstone is right in the central pedestrian area about 500m from the station, tucked away down a small accessway. We used the backdoor on arrival as that is where the SatNav led us to. Turned out we had to get a taxi in the morning because of the rain. 8 pounds taxi fare, including any booking / call out fee.
The room was small, hardly deserving to be called double, which always seems to be the case with this price range in UK. But it was probably the smallest we encountered on our trip.
Generally I thought it too costly for the accommodation level offered.
It was clean and tidy. The double bed was hard against our en suite wall and there was some small furniture. Not much room to move about.
No windows, only a roof skylight. I don't know what ventilation it had, but it did not get stuffy.
Landlady very pleasant and helpful. She prepared a breakfast tray for us as we left before the normal breakfast time, and booked the taxi.
Some strange plumbing in the en suite, but everything worked properly, and no odour problems.

Air freshner above bed left sheets and pillow sticky and stinking
No window in room stuffy
Breakfast not served till 8am useless for those working in the area.
Shared bathroom was acceptable lack of sufficient parking may be an issue.
Absolutely beautiful little B & B. Friendly service and attentiveness to the comfort of Travellers. Good knowledge of the area. Real pride in their work and their establishment.
My son Ivan, and I, felt very comfy and cosy, at the Cornerstone B&B. We felt very at home, and it was very nice to be in the centre of Ashford, with everything around us that we needed. We were there regarding house-hunting, so our location was ideal, for the agency, restaurants, and so on. The big breakfast in the morning was great, and really set us up for the day. Last time, we stayed at the Premier Inn North, but the Cornerstone was much nicer, from every point of view, and much better value for money. I would certainly stay there again, if necessary, or recommend it to others. I would not describe our stay as PLEASING, because that word is too bland. Nor would I describe it as superb, which is more suited to a 5 star hotel. I would say very cosy, welcoming, comfortable, and better than you can normally expect from a B&B. Carry on like this.
I would never ever chose to stay in this place again. We booked late and paid over the odds for the pokiest room I've ever seen. Despite paying for the ensuite room we got one with a shared bathroom. Next time I sleep under the bridge.
This is one of those places which you either love or you hate. The good news first . A warm welcome. The double room was very clean, well furnished, bathroom excellent, nice shower. tea tray had lots of teas and a variety of biscuits. Bed comfortable, clean linen and a good TV.
The bad news was breakfast which was served in an adjacent greasy-spoon cafe. If you like a lorry- driver belly-buster fried breakfast in a cafe with Radio Invicta blaring away, then this is the place for you. No cereals, no fruit juice, however, - the freshly -brewed coffee was excellent. The B& (no B) was further from the railway station than stated, it was at least 1Km. I chose Cornerstones to be near Ashford International station and Eurostar.
If you are happy to have a breakfast as described above, then I am happy to recommend the Cornerstones. But I personally, I would never go there again.
