Well Clyde View looks like a little guest house, but when you get inside it is a clean, well thought out Bed and Breakfast. Helen and Nigel are excellent hosts, I really wish I had booked more time with them than some other establishments we have stayed in earlier in our travels cannot recommend them enough, great brekky to get you started for the day, some intriguing conversation, would happily stay there again and cannot recommend enough, do yourself a favour and choose this one

One night stop on our tour of Scotland. Splashed out on this night and was a great place to stay but it wasn’t right on the water as expected. Still a lovely view. Restaurant breakfast and dinner was good too.

Delightful. The hostess goes out of her way to assist walkers. Little things, like putting transferred luggage into guests’ rooms, mean such a lot at the end of a long day’s walking. Delicious scones on arrival and very nice breakfast. Lots of tips for the West Highland Way.

Everything about the hotel was great but one experience leaves a bad memory - I accidentally left some medication beside the bed and the following day when realised what I'd done, phoned the hotel and they said nothing had been handed in but they would ask their domestic staff. We heard nothing more from them.
