It was very clean and well maintained (though this is because of very strict rules, so if you're intent is to party, this is not the spot for you). The manager is super nice and provides a lot of great advice based on your expectations of your trip. The pousada is off the beaten path and does not come with breakfast like other pousadas on the mainland do."

The property is right on the beach and they give you chairs and things if you want them. Staff were super friendly. "Extremely peaceful and idyllic place. The room was clean and looked new. The bed was comfy. Only downside was that the room was quite small and it was missing some functional additions (e.g hanger where to hang the towels). Also it would have been very helpful to have more detailed direction where to go. Once the boat dropped us off, there were no signs which way to go. It was a small walk in the jungle but first time quite confusing. "

You feel like you're in someone's house as opposed in a pousada. There's definitely better options for the cost of it. "My fiance and I had a few extra days in the Rio area and found this amazing Pousada on the site. It was charming, quaint, and had the most amazing views. We had several quiet nights here and loved the darling breakfasts wheeled to our table on a cart. My suggestion to the host would be to have a written explanation of how to get hot water from the shower in several languages. "

"beach front hotel, literally the dining room is 3 meters fromthe beach. Lots of restaurants and ahops nearby and 5 minute walk from the Abrao pier. The swimming pool was closed due to renovations. Breakfast was good, wirh delicious tapioca pancakes made to order, fresh fruit and lots of cakes. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. "
