"B&B St John's Villa is really well placed - close to key sights, various transport options and in a more low key residential area, so quiet. The rooms are a good size with a.c. and your own shower. The buffet breakfast was excellent with fruit, baked goods, yoghurt et al. The proprietor was very helpful and suggested less common options to try. There's some secure parking but you'll need to check when booking. Also, there are quite a few steps, so not so great for anyone with mobility issues...
