Staff was very friendly and helpful, except when it came to internet problems (see below). Room was satisfactory, bed was comfortable, but overall the rooms need to be updated. Faucets were very stiff to turn, shower took several minutes to get hot water, wasting lots of water. Mini-fridge was great, but no microwave in the room is a huge problem for business travelers like me who like to reheat our leftovers in our rooms while we work. Also, the Choice Hotels website said their was a complimentary breakfast, but this hotel charged for breakfast, and it was literally the exact same breakfast that other Choice Hotels offer for free.
WiFi was terrible. Non-existent most of the time and when it did work, it averaged less than 3Mbps download and less than 1Mbps upload. The "Business Office" was nothing more than a conference table and chairs. No dedicated WiFi and no ethernet ports. It was SO bad that at 11pm I had to walk 1/2 mile down to Denny's and use their WiFi to make my Midnight deadline. This is not the first time I've stayed at this hotel, but I forgot just how bad the WiFi was when I booked it. I had at least 20 friends staying at the same hotel, and they all complained about the lack of WiFi. When traveling to Anaheim Conventions in the future, I may look elsewhere for my hotel needs.
