Had the best experience since even before we got to the hotel. Staff was very accommodating to getting us picked up and brought to hotel, transportation to Positano was so smooth and a breeze. The food was magnificent, check out their restaurant. So good! the room was very clean and elegant. I would 100% recommend this to anyone and I would stay here again

This is Paradise. The hotel is right on the water with gorgeous views in every direction. Truly luxurious with a beautiful restaurant, including the best breakfast!! Convenient to buses, boat rentals, beach access and other good restaurants. All employees are outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. Quiet pool area. Highly recommend

Hotel Onda Verde is a wonderful place. The views are incredible, the staff very friendly/attentive and the restaurant "Franchino" had amazing dishes (sea food and pasta). We will definitely go back, hopefully next year!

Great location, views, service! In between two great towns to visit. 3 minutes walk to a small beach nearby, 15 car or boat (!) ride to two very nice downtowns

Views were very nice especially from the Francino restaurant. Beach nearby was very rocky and we decided not to swim there. Breakfast and setting good, however, get to breakfast very early as they ran out of many items and did not replace them even when asked. Nice hotel however, probably would not be staying here again. No shuttle service. Rooms and bathrooms very very small. Travel light as no room for large suitcases in room. However, not a place we will return to in the future if we decide to come back to the amalfi coast.

The view from our room was great. The overall rating of the hotel should be 3 star. The bed was really dated - the mattress seemed old in style - no cushion - due to the lack of comfort and the pillows were flimsy. We paid for the room with the view and you’re really just paying for the view. You don’t have a legit balcony..it’s a walk way and it’s shared. The style needs an a design uplift into 2025 from the 90s. The hotel offers massages (buy the bar) but they don’t offer robes and slippers in the rooms. Again another reason why I’d give it a 3 star. Overall the hotel ratings in the Amalfi area seemed really skewed and it’s hard to tell what you’ll get.

You can stop searching and just book this hotel

We took a chance and just went with this hotel because of the reviews, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The location is great, walking distance from restaurants and bars, and the water taxis are right downstairs to take you to Amalfi town and Positano with just a 30-40 minute boat ride. We shared a boat to Capri for the day and it all worked out perfectly. Great hotel, breathtaking views, excellent service, food and ambiance. We stayed a week and didn’t want to leave ever again. They have car parking, which is rare and a big plus all along the Amalfi Coast. You cannot go wrong staying in Praiano, especially at Hotel Onda Verde

Overall stay was good especially after intervention from the owner and senior front desk personnel who was lovely to deal with and quite helpful Room was smaller that indicated on the booking with limited seating area and basic washroom amenities Experience at the Hotel restaurant for dinner was enjoyable Breakfast was lovely with attentive pleasant staff Most upsetting was the experience with a new young and inexperienced staff who was abrupt and dismissive upon arrival with no information regarding hotel amenities and Breakfast as being part of the package

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! Worth every penny during our honeymoon. The staff was attentive and the rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend to honeymooners.
