Al Mamsha El Seyahi Hotels, Hurghada

"Great resort ***for the price***. Staff is great and will bend over backwards to make sure you have a great stay. If you decide to stay here, you will enjoy it, and you'll be glad you did, especially when you look at what you didn't spend at a more expensive resort. Also, the immediate area is very walkable and quite pleasant. Easy access to pharmacies, Carrefour, and the usual resort clothing/souvenir shops. That said, maintainance/upkeep is a bit of an issue. "Weardownables" like towels, sheets, the poolside chaise lounge pads...all seem old and in need of replacement. Our biggest issue was the lack of variety at the main restaurants. You can make a reservation at the small restaurant venues in the resort (some have an upcharge) but the two main restaurants pretty much serve the same stuff every day, and it's not particularly tasty. After the first four days, we found ourselves going into Hurghada to other restaurants. Hurghada isnt expensive and it's close by Uber, so this wasn't a huge issue; just saying you're not going to get cruise ship variety and quality here. "

"Air conditioner was not working in the first day but they fix it later and everything was okay. Other than that the food was very good, the rooms were clean and there were lots of fun activities. Will definitely be back!"

"Buffet dinner was nice (USD10.00) and they Reception arranged a taxi for me (USD10.00). Not sure how good this hotel would be for a beach holiday, but for a night before a flight it was perfect."

"The resort itself is lovely, though it could use a few extra touches like robes and slippers. The staff were friendly overall, but communication before arrival was disappointing. I had reached out in advance to organise something and never received a reply, even though the team later confirmed they had seen my message. It’s also worth noting that for stays shorter than a week, the à la carte dining options aren’t available. While this may be common for all-inclusive resorts, it wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time. On a positive note, the assistant manager, Ahmed, was extremely helpful and made a real effort to accommodate us during our stay. Overall, it’s a good resort and we had an enjoyable experience, but better pre-arrival communication would have made a big difference so do consider that if you have any special requests ahead of your visit. "

"This hotel was extremely noisy from 9am throughout the day due to ongoing construction work. Builders were cutting tiles with loud machines, using a digger, and creating a lot of dust and strong burning smells from the tile cutting. It was impossible to relax or enjoy the stay. The room was very poor for the price we paid. We previously stayed at Alibaba Hotel, which was cheaper, had much larger and more modern rooms, bigger swimming pools, and a huge aqua park. Compared to that, this hotel offers very poor value for money. On top of this, I made a small mistake with my reservation, and the reservation manager, Ahmed Bakry, charged me $120. He showed no willingness to help or find a solution, so I lost $120 for nothing. Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience. I will never return to this hotel and do not recommend it to anyone."
