The hotel was absolutely incredible, with remarkable attention to every detail. The staff was exceptional from start to finish and truly made the difference with their professionalism and kindness. The food was varied and excellent, always fresh and high quality. The beach was beautiful, very clean, and the water was crystal clear. A perfect experience from beginning to end, this hotel truly deserves the highest possible rating
Beautiful hotel with a clean sandy beaches. There are different restaurants with tasty food: buffet, Asian, Turkish and Italian cuisine.
Yes, there are some construction on the site but it didn’t bother us at all, every day something new was opened for example fountains.
Evening entertainment was amazing!
Some advice: we used hotel taxi transfer from the airport and paid $35. On the way back we used Ubar and payed $5. eSIM would help to call taxi from everywhere without WiFi.
An exceptional stay from start to finish. The hotel is stunning, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the grounds are beautifully kept. What really stood out was the staff. Karem the front of office manager was excellent. After an awful experience at another hotel he made our stay so comfortable. Every single person was friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. Aymen our room cleaner was so lovely he always had a lovely design on our bed. The food was varied and high quality, and the beach and pool areas were perfect for relaxing. A truly luxurious and stress-free holiday.
The hotel is lovely, and the beach is absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The delicious desserts are particularly worth mentioning. Staff are also helpful
I thought long and hard about whether to bring these points up.
I was particularly struck by the fact that managers (in black and green uniforms) were arguing loudly with staff in front of guests in the restaurants. As I speak Arabic, I could understand the conversations.
That doesn’t leave a good impression.
The staff in the main restaurant were mainly busy clearing the plates.
At times I had to chase after staff to get drinks – to me, this is clearly a management issue.
Better training and a clearer allocation of tasks by the supervisors/mamagment would be desirable.
The staff in green uniforms also often ignored me. Even if it isn’t directly their job, it would be nice if they at least politely asked guests if they’d like a drink or supported the team in stressful situations.
Al Kasr was a major disappointment.
I have stayed at a number of 5 start hotels, as well as in Egypt (previously Sharm El Sheikh) so feel I have a good gauge of a good hotel.
From the very start there were red flags. All hotels I have stayed in up until now have offered welcoming drinks (even just a basic juice would be fine) and provided a tour of the hotel facilities so we know where the pool and dining is. This is the first hotel where check in was “here’s your key, on you go”. Again, if I paid the price of a 3 star hotel I’d be fine with this, but you pay a premium price and get mediocre service.
Then, the layout of the resort seems odd. We were located in block 1000, which is far from any facilities. The dining and pools (as far as we could identify) were on the complete other side of the resort. If it was centrally located, all rooms could have equidistant access. When they told us we had been upgraded to a sea-view free of charge, I thought this was great. It was a rude awakening when I went to the balcony and looked out and saw we were getting a sea view from the back of the hotel, overlooking the entire hotel premises. At that point it seems disingenuous to promote it as a ‘sea-view’.
Moving onto the room. I had high hopes as it’s supposed to be a ‘new’ hotel. The rooms looked like they’ve been in use for 20 years. Grouting lifting between the tiles, the bathroom sink tap ‘unbolted’ and moving as you use it. The balcony had nails sticking out which you could easil
Wow, where do I start! This property is absolutely beautiful. The room was well appointed and spacious. The many, many pools and fountains are beautiful. The resort is brand new, construction was going on but it never interrupted our stay.
But out of all that, the impeccable service was what stood out the most. From our check-in and welcome with Nael Nashat-to say he was hospitable is an understatement, the man made my wife and I and both of my parents feel like our happiness was his only concern.
Our every need at our room was meticulously handled by Ayman-what a kind man. Not only did he handle what we needed, he anticipated it.
Usually buffet food is not my family’s favorite, but what an amazing set of Chef’s at this resort. Dinner at the buffet turned into an event each evening coordinated by our waiter Mohamed Samir Mahmoud. My Egyptian American family was waited on hand over foot! The chef’s would help us decide what to eat and explain all of the finer details of the huge spread. We are foodies and this buffet delivered a five-star dining experience at each meal.
If you are American and not sure if you should book here because of the limited reviews, just book. The resort is brand new so it has not had a chance to be reviewed much yet.
Thank you to everyone at this resort that made such a special time for my family!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 11/10 – A New Benchmark for Luxury in Egypt
From the moment we arrived at Al Kasr Luxury 5-Star Hotel in Sahl Hasheesh, we knew we were experiencing something truly special. Located just a short, smooth transfer from Hurghada Airport, this stunning new hotel delivers world-class luxury, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that effortlessly balances relaxation with refined entertainment.
A very special mention must go to Mr Nader, the General Manager, whose respect, attention to detail, and absolute professionalism set the tone for the entire hotel. His presence and leadership are clearly reflected in the exceptional standards throughout our stay.
Equally deserving of praise is Mr Hani, the Hotel Manager, who went out of his way to accommodate even our smallest requests with genuine warmth and care. Mr Karem, Front Office Manager, ensured our stay was seamless from start to finish, making us feel valued and truly welcomed at every interaction.
And then there is Miss Wasila—our guardian angel throughout the stay. No request was ever too much, no question was ever a problem. Her dedication, kindness, and attention is making our days unforgettable and our experience truly personal from beginning to end.
It must also be said that every single member of staff at Al Kasr is exceptionally polite, caring, and hardworking. From housekeeping to restaurant teams, beach staff to front office, the level of genuine warmth, attentiveness, and pride they take in
Our villa was great. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our butler Mustafa was the best! He made our stay very enjoyable and provided extreme luxury. He went out of his way to cater to us and to make sure we enjoyed our stay. He even texted us after we left to make sure we got home safe. Wow! The resort general manager, Nader also spent some time with us to get our feedback. The resort is exceptional and the food is great. We will be back! Highly recommended.
Best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Coming from the United States, I honestly did not expect such an incredible level of hospitality. The hotel exceeded all my expectations, and the experience was truly unforgettable. A special thank you to Nourhan — her professionalism, kindness, and attention to every detail made our stay absolutely perfect. This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world.

Our stay in one of the villas was absolutely wonderful. The balcony with the swimup pool was a delight to spend a couple of hours away in the calm. Special thanks go out to Nouhran and especially Mostafa who both took great care of us and fulfilled all wishes with the greatest care one could ask for. The kids loved both of them and generally the whole staff was amazingly lovely with everyone. The food is almost perfect (the sole disappointment for us was the pizza in the a la carte restaurant which is really not as good as the rest of food - I would recommend going for the really amazing pasta dishes instead and perhaps the management could send the cooks to italy for a couple of weeks to take the pizza experience to the level of the remainder of the food.). Other than that the food was really really good! And every restaurant and/or bar served us delicious food at every time of the day. Another special thanks to the lady at the "egg station" of the breakfast buffet who was beaming with the most friendly smile every day during our stay! We will certainly be back next time we stay in Sahl Hasheesh!
Al Kasr sits within the beautiful gated community of Sahl Hasheesh, and overall we had a great stay. We visited in February 2026 and the weather was perfect. The hotel still feels like it’s in a soft‑opening phase, with the spa unfinished and some facilities being refined, but the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Tipping plays a big part in service levels, so bring small notes.
The pools were a highlight: all heated, never crowded, and the swim‑up rooms offered real privacy, though ours had some messy tile repairs. The beach is directly connected to the hotel with plenty of loungers and a bar on the sand.
Food was good, even for a picky eater, with the main restaurant plus several made‑to‑order snack bars, a café, juice bar, and doughnut station. Service, however, was inconsistent—sometimes excellent, sometimes nonexistent—and the language barrier could make simple requests harder than expected.
Our room was comfortable but the air‑con didn’t cool below 23°C despite reporting it, and the pillows were overly large. The mini‑fridge was restocked daily, which was a nice touch.
There’s no ATM on-site despite what Google says, so withdraw cash at the airport.
Despite a few teething issues, Al Kasr is a lovely, luxurious hotel with huge potential, and we’d happily recommend it for a relaxing getaway.
Superbe hotel. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Piscines, plage, delicieux cocktails...
Les restaurants sont delicieux et varies.
Les chambres sont tres biens.
