"The resort was great for families. However we have been to better hotels in Mexico and did not pay as much as the Bahía Príncipe explore Tulum. Take US dollars, they will never give you change for pesos. À la carte bookings was an absolute nightmare. For the week my group of 9 got 1 restaurant booked. Considering each room is allowed 2 à la cartes and we all together had 1 is a joke. For the amount of money we spent on this vacation we expected a bit more. Our tv in the hotel didn't work for a majority of our stay which was not ideal when you have a toddler. The buffet food was good no complaints there. Overall the resort was great for families but there were some things that were off putting"

"Loved it food was great in the buffet, staff were all nice and there was a lot of entertainment. Only thing I didn’t like was that reservations for the restaurants were impossible to makes they were always full and I would check as early as 5am and there wouldn’t be anymore availability."

"The entire experience at the resort was absolutely incredible. The property itself is breathtakingly beautiful, meticulously maintained, and truly feels like paradise from the moment you arrive. One of the highlights of our stay was the snorkeling. It was exceptional—we were able to see sea turtles, tropical fish, and so much beautiful marine life right off the beach, which made the experience unforgettable. What truly makes this resort stand out, though, is the staff. Every single team member went above and beyond to make our stay special. From housekeeping and turndown service to the concierge team and Preferred Club servers, everyone was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. "We had 4 of us doing a golf trip, we had booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room and they said we could not get that they only had rooms with 1 King available and they would put a Cot in there to help. The room was not very comfortable once the cot was added as it couldn't accommodate another sleeping space. When we checked in they gave us tickets for our travel golf bags and said they would transfer it to our rooms once ready as we would be out golfing when the room became available. We got back after our round and our baggage was still sitting beside the bus stop and hadn't been moved so that was beyond frustrating that this wasn't taken care of as offered. The food was okay we always just did the Buffet option and the breakfast was always good the Dinner buffet was just okay, not as many options."

"Our room was fantastic, Alan was a huge help in making our vacation amazing, all of the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful session with their in house photographer Conrado. The on site restaurants were all great, and the buffet always had plenty of options."

"Nichées entre de si nombreux resorts hôteliers, cette petite résidence était parfaite pour passer une semaine de repos, en couple ou en famille. Il s’agit d’appartements dans de belles villas, avec piscine extérieure et plage . Attention pour les studios , ils sont situés en contrebas. Nous avions le 002 et notre appartement était bien lumineux . Mais d’autres semblent être moins agréables. Les appartements aux étages 1 et 2 sont beaucoup plus grands et beneficent d’un généreux balcon avec table et chaises. La vue est très agréable. Le bruit des palmiers , des oiseaux et de l’océan très reposant. Il y a un petit restaurant en haut d’où nous prenions nos petits déjeuner, et parfois un cocktail ou un dîner . Le personnel est aimable et serviable. Les serviettes de plage sont fournies et changées chats jour. Le ménage est fait chaque jour. Il y a de quoi garer les voitures devant . Le restaurant Jungle beach a 100 mètres est chouette. Bonne base pour aller visiter Tulum et les environs . Très bon rapport qualité prix . 778€ pour 6 nuits via hôtels.com en avril . A noter : fin de la saison haute donc top pour aller au Mexique à cette époque."

"Our room in the Tequila section was beautiful. We were right across from the Spa and Le Gourmet restaurants and around the corner from the pool. The trolley stop was also behind our room. The Coba lobby and buffet were very close also. We couldn't have requested a more perfect spot! The various spots that have musicians or music at night are loud, but, in the room we just heard the bump. Not bad and didn't prevent us from sleep. The property is so big and fun. We had access to the beach where the trolley dropped us off. No problem. Lots of fun activities and we had plenty of spaces to relax. The reservation restaurants go fast, so book those right when you get checked in. Download the Bahia Principe app for that. The spa was lovely and serene. I had a pedicure there. Le Gourmet restaurant was lovely inside and the food was good. The staff everywhere on the property are the best. Friendly warning: if you aren't interested in being a member of their vacation club, tell the man in the white shirt who will be the nicest to you when you are waiting for the bellhop to assist you with your luggage that you are not interested. We made an appointment with him for the next morning. We thought he was just going to show us the property and let us know what we had access to. It wasn't high pressure sales, but I wasn't aware that he was going to pitch something. Not a problem. Just said thank you, but no. Had the best time here!"
