"Hotel was in the midst of a much-needed renovation. It would have been nice to know this prior to our trip. At the restaurant, which only had a handful of customers, we ordered a drink at the bar and food to go. The bartender was extremely inattentive and actually stood with his back to us talking with a couple of guests. It took almost an hour to get a sandwich to go from a restaurant with limited customers. We reserved a river view room and this was verified at check-in. Our room faced a parking garage and a roof top. When questioning the front desk, we learned that their rooms were incorrect in the system. A refund of the difference in room charges would have been a nice gesture. This property definitely isn’t reflective of what I expect from the Marriott brand. "

"Everything was absolutely amazing. The room was clean, the staff were top notch, big shout out to the valets for luggage and cars, they are all top notch. Thanks Marriott for an amazing experience during a special time to see the Thorn at the Performing Arts Center. What a treat, walk out the door and walk into the theater."
