"Lovely boutique hotel with a friendly and helpful front desk staff. The room was clean, spacious by Paris standards, with a comfortable bed. The entrance to the République metro station is right outside the front door, making it very easy to get around Paris, and it's a quick taxi ride to/from Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est. The breakfast buffet was terrific. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five (and almost gave it three) is that the interior walls are paper thin. I could not hear any street noise, but I could hear *everything* going on in the rooms on either side of me. If it weren't for that, this would be my new go-to hotel."
