"It was nice and conveient"
they are in the process of changing the hotel over to Holiday Inn. So there is a lot going on. The carpets are old and rooms are cozy. There is only one elevator on each floor, but there are 80 rooms on each floor so unless you are in the first rooms next to the elevator, get ready for a 3-5 minute walk to your room. Also I was on the 6th floor and there was a wedding reception going on, which was on the 2nd floor. Walls a paper thin, I heard all the party goers and the music...

"Convenient Location and Decently Maintained"
I decided to take a spur of the moment trip to visit a friend in Rochester. Upon arrival at the airport, I called the hotel to get a shuttle around 9pm. The driver was polite and courteous, and warned me that a Jehovah's Witness conference was staying at the hotel (which is connected to the convention center). The room was well maintained but the toilet had the handle coming off. Otherwise it was nice and clean with a sort-of view. My room was facing the convention center/river direction. I was not high enough in the hotel (23 floors) to see the river from my room. I dined in the hotel a couple times and it was decent, though very limited options both in the bar and food. Expect to pay higher prices for in-hotel dining. Lobster Mac and Cheese was $23 for a 12oz portion, though it was packed with large pieces of lobster. Draft beers run about $8 at the bar and dining area. There was a Baptist convention ending the day after I arrived, and a wedding that weekend so it was a very busy hotel. Late night server was rude at best. Overall I would probably stay again, or at the Radisson across the street.

"Sister's One Day Get-a-way"
My sister and I decided to a weekend (actually one night) get-a-way and we stayed at the Radisson Hotel and here the Cons: They charge $12.00/day for parking (unbelievable) with the alternative of parking on a side street (not safe) if I wanted to avoid paying fee. There is a restaurant located within the hotel that charged 18% gratuity for room service...I guess and they also reserved a space on receipt for tip. When sister pulled out her Lysol can to spray down beds (as a precaution) she pulled back the sheets on my bed and noticed a brown smudge( I don't even want to know), I immediately contacted the front desk and the manager on duty came up to our room to apologize, she also gave as 2 breakfast buffet coupons to their restaurant (Legends Bar and Grill) and someone from their staff was changed the linen immediately. Also, when it was time to order room service there were no menus in our room, so front desk transferred me over to restaurant, they did not have menu's available so my sister and I had to walk down and get menu's. They have a 2 coupons for one free drink at their bar for going through all the trouble, which was a nice gesture. Pros: Their queen size beds and pillows were very plush and comfortable. The room was overall very clean. The bathroom was pretty modern and up to date. They have a sauna, work out room and outdoor pool with a nice scenery overlooking the water. The staff were pleasant and sweet. We enjoyed our stay.

"Nice hotel. Close to RIT. "
Staff is friendly and room was comfortable and clean. Relatively quiet. One drawback is the smoke detector in the bedroom has an annoying flashing light that seems so bright in the dark bedroom.

Only problem was that there was no free WI-FI because I did not book through Hilton. Had to pay for WI-FI for each day.

"Friendly staff"
The front desk people were very nice. One lady charged my phone b/c I forgot my charger at home. Very nice of her to do that! All staff said hello and good morning in the halls. Life guards were nice too.

"Convenient to RIT, but needs updating."
We stay here each time we come up to Rochester because our son attends RIT and it's very convenient. The hotel is in the midst of renovations. Our floor had many doors with big blue exes on them, hopefully being renovated. The ceilings looked like there had been a water leak and were stained and chipping. The staff is very eager to please though and any requests were met immediately.
