"Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff"
The hotel has an absolutely beautiful view of the sea. It can be a bit of a walk to downtown Amalfi but it was manageable. The room was very comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage there the day we checked out so we could do some more sightseeing. They then called a taxi for us when we were ready to head to the Port.

"A lovely, personal hotel with incredible views."
I booked late for a friend's wedding and on the map it looked close to Amalfi where most of the other 80 folks were staying to be near Ravello, where the wedding took place. I arrived the next day, picked up from Naples airport (the nearest one). There was a party in Ravello that evening hosted by the engaged couple. A private bus took us down to Amalfi but would not go o Furore where the hotel is situated. A taxi is €80. The hotel called me and very kindly offered to pick me up for €50. This is cheap for a persons time and car. I was lucky and stayed in a friend's hotel in a spare bed. The hotel was great, not a problem. The road drive is amazing. I took the SITA Agerola bus, which stops by the hotel (up and down) for €1.20 in approx 30 mins. They are not frequent but come at useful times. The last one up from Amalfi is at 21:00 The next night I ate at the hotel. Great food. Very busy restaurant. The night views are amazing, the day ones even more so. The breakfast, a fine buffet and on the terrace with the sun beaming down with views 1500feet to the sea - unbeatable. The staff are very helpful, well informed. I wish my family was with me. Also they have parking which is a premium. I would hire a car at Naples next time, park at the hotel. Only drive down if you go at low traffic hours as getting in and out of Amalfi and park on the waterfront past the bus terminus. Go to Capri and Positano on the ferries at €8 to get great views. You can spend €35 on other boats if you wish

"My secret place..I wish!"
Hotel Royal Prisco was such a delight. Perfect position just the right distance out of the hustle & bustle of town. Within walking distance both up and down via Pasitea of great restaurants. We had a beautiful room that was cleaned spotlessly rvery day by attentive staff & the view was amazing. Michaelangelo & Maria were warm, caring and as hosts, impeccable. The breakfast provided covered all tastes. We could not have had a more memorable time and are already planning a return.

"Great view of the cathedral"
The hotel is an average stay. We only stayed for one night and We would only want to stay that long there. the hotel looks modern in the pictures but the rooms are old and in need of a thorough cleaning/renovation. Pros: great location. Right across from the cathedral. Breakfast included but nothing special. Prepackaged breads and some cereal and cold cuts. Cons: dirty. If you are a light sleeper, the bells from the cathedral will wake you up in the morning.

"Room with a View"
La Perla is set up from the road and commands a beautiful view over the bay. It is not suitable for people with leg disabilities and there is no lift. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel was spotless. The evening meals are inexpensive and very good. We would certainly stay here the next time we visit the Amalfi coast.

"Great hotel in convenient location"
Pros: great location- close to both bus stops, the shopping/restaurants/beach & a less than 5 min walk from great sunset views. Great staff as well- very friendly, helpful with recommendations for restaurants & even when the weather is best to visit other towns via ferry. Great price for what you get! Room was lovely & had an extensive breakfast assortment. Would definitely book again. Con: only have wifi on 1st floor but we had a lot of issues with wifi in general while in Positano so it may be a location thing not the fault of the hotel

"5 Star Hotel at 3 Star pricing. "
This is a hidden gem. We were reluctant to stay here because it had a 3-star rating, but the choices of other hotels went away as the weekend closed in on us (last minute trip), so we decided to stay here. We arrived at the hotel and my first thought was hoping the room views were half as nice as the parking garage view (beautiful water and coastline view). We arrived at the reception floor and were greeted by a really cool cave-like tunnel that lead to the reception area. There we were greeted by an amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Our room (108) was ready (1:00 PM) and upon entrance we noticed a big and beautiful bathroom, then a nice size bed with beautiful furniture and then we looked over and there it was....balcony doors that expose the most beautiful view imaginable. We quickly opened the doors and plopped down on the comfy balcony chairs and just sat there for an hour. Unreal is an understatement. The room was super clean and fantastic in every way. The restaurant/food was great, the breakfast was perfect, the water sports facility and staff located next door was awesome (went scuba diving and rented a boat all day and drove to Capri etc.). The night before we arrived we spent two nights at the Grand Hotel Riviera in Sorrento, which is a 4-star hotel. Nice hotel, but it had nothing over the Onda Verde (except if you compared lobbies). Why isn't Onda a 4-star hotel? 4-stars pays 20℅ more in taxes and they had no intention of passing that on to us!! LOVE IT!!
