Nice San Diego Stay
I was very impressed with the service and cleanliness of this hotel. The rooms are spacios and comfortable. Rooms with a view of the city are dfinitely wothwhile. Even during daytime the view is great. You can clearly see the boats on the bay. An added nicity is the fruit-flavored water with real fruit in the lobby. The hotel restaurant is also a nice place to dine or you can lounge near the bar if you just want to relax. I would definitely stay here again.

By far the best hotel I have been to!!
I absolutely loved this hotel! My boyfriend had proposed to me that morning and upon check in we were given a free upgrade and were surprised when in the evening we received a card from the hotel manager, Caitlin and a bottle of sparkling wine. We didn’t expect anything especially paying a discounted rate for the room but the fact that the hotel went above and beyond on such a special day for me made all the difference. As for the room, the bed was by far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom shower was amazing as it had two shower heads. The swimming pool and gym were fantastic. Everything about this hotel was wonderful! We found it hard to leave because it was so relaxing. Other reviews complained about the the parking rates but all the parking garages in the area charge about the same price. It’s high but you are staying in Downtown San Diego. If you really want to save money, there are outdoor parking lots (a few blocks down) that charge half the price but are not as secure as the parking garages. The location was perfect. It was a 3 minute walk to the train station, a ten minute walk to the ferry docks and ten minute walk to the Gaslamp district. The map makes the hotel seem farther than it actually is. Also, there is a happy hour M-F in the hotel bar.

Wonderful stay
The hotel is sound proof; outside there were works in progress but that was not noticeable inside. The room was very quiet, we did not even notice we had neighbours, which is excellent. The room was very clean and tidy; the beds were comfortable. The hotel’s location is ideal since it is near the train station and the trolley stops, so very convenient if you want to explore the city without the need of a car. We would surely return to this hotel if we go to San Diego in the future. Excellent quality!
