The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Trash: Remove all trash (except recycling) and leave it outside the front door. Recycling is for glass bottles, plastic bottles, cans, and clean boxes only.
Dishes: Load and start the dishwasher. Kitchen knives and wine glasses are NOT dishwasher safe.
Laundry: • Place all used towels in the bathtub. • If you used the sofa bed, remove the sheets, extra pillowcases, and blankets and place them next to the front door to indicate they need washing.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Please don't bring sand into the property, especially INSIDE shower stall or bathtub which will cause clogging issues for the next guest checking in.
Please only throw toilet paper into the toilet. Please leave open food on the dining table and not on kitchen counter to keep ants away!
Quiet time is from 10 pm to 9 am on the balcony and downstairs common areas. No smoking inside the apartment and in the common area to avoid a fine.

Great Stay, perfect location!

We had a really wonderful time during our stay! The location is perfect--walking distance to both the beach and restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. It was also a very dog friendly place, complete with small dog bed, bowls and towels. We would definitely stay here again.

The rental is on a great location. Walking distance to beach, walking paths, restaurants. We especially enjoyed OB Brewing. Would recommend!

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Ocean Beach other than trying to find parking. The bathroom had lots of great supplies and the kitchen seemed well stocked. The property manager was very responsive.

Quick Getaway

The apartment is absolutely adorable. Perfectly located for a quick walk to the beach or a variety of restaurants. The host was wonderful, very accommodating and kind with loads of recommendations for things in the area. Absolutely would recommend staying here for anyone and would definitely stay again if we're ever back to the area again!

Cute Apartment for a Beach Vacation

I really enjoyed this convenient, comfortable home. It's a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. I had never been to San Diego before, so I was given the grand tour of all the neighborhoods, but if I had had more time, I would have liked to spend more down time in OB!

Awesome Newly Updated Property

The place was clean and beautiful with fun and thoughtful decorations. The recent remodel is beautiful. It felt super comfortable and homey therePlus, just a few minutes walk to the beach, dog beach and tons of cool restaurants and shops. The property owner is wonderful and even provides a cute outdoor space with BBQ and there are also beach chairs in a cart you can take to the beach!It was a wonderful and relaxing time there!

Winter break

We all had a great time. The space met all our needs. It was a quick drive to Seaworld and Legoland, kids loved it. We got to visit some great restaurants. More importantly the beach was at walking distance. The host was pleasant and helpful. Overall a great experience.

Amazing location and perfect amenities!

This place exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect to access the beach, shops and restaurants. The condo was equipped with beach towels, chairs, body boards, dog toys and sand toys. We enjoyed reading our books on the back patio with a cup of coffee and the local nightlife. If we go to Ocean Beach again, we would love to stay here!

Home away from home

We had a wonderful stay here with my family of 5. There was enough space for everyone. Everything was walking distance from this apartment,from a market,restaurants and the beach as well. My kids really enjoyed all the beach equipment they provided which made us have a perfect beach day.It was closed to everything but in a quiet neighborhood.We will definitely be staying here again.

San Diego Trip

Great stay, the whole family had a wonderful time! The owner was very communicative and provided great details for check-in, what was expected and check out. Local to everything, we walked to the beach and to restaurants. Took an Uber for everywhere else we went. The locals in the neighborhood were great. Made some friends. Will definately be visiting again.

Awesome place! Just what we were looking for!

Owners communicated all the important information very well! The property was clean and ready early! She gave great recommendations of places to eat as well as places to go see! Loved the games they had, even though we brought some to play. Only “complaint” we would even have, which is NOT a complaint at all is it would be nice if there was more light in the living room. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Location is amazing. A block away from the beach so kids click traverse back and forth without worry. Had all the amenities like gas stove outdoor space and towels and chairs for the beach. Downtown ocean beach wasn’t our style but if you turned right out of the unit a smaller little down town area with two great coffee shops (coffee cycles was our fave) and a good sandwich shoe, tacos, a brew house and pizza, close to freeway to go to Padres or anything else downtown. We brought Enough clothes so I didn’t have to do laundry as the unit doesn’t have a machine. Only downside was there is no parking attached to this unit and we have a large car so finding parking was a bit difficult at times. To unload and load we just had blinkers on while putting stuff in while parked in front of the unit. Overall it was great, couldn’t beat the location!

Great Location

Description is very accurate. Beds very comfortable. Grill worked great. There are a few grocery stores nearby but be prepared to pay 10 cents per bag and an extra 10 cents for every product packaged in plastic. Thats ridiculous but not an owner problem. It's a California problem. Very close to beach, restaurants and bars. As mentioned in almost every review, parking is crazy but not stupid crazy. Can always get a closer spot in the mornings. Pay attention to the no parking signs for street sweeping. They mean what it says.

Property fine, property manager not fine

The property manager begins bothering you immediately. She wants you to cancel with VRBO and schedule with her directly. When you get to the property, she wants to know who everyone she sees on security cameras is. She bothered us our entire stay with texts to call her for various reasons. The property is clean and close to beach but WIFI is terrible, you aren’t even able to watch a movie. Lightly is horrible and can hear upstairs guests every step. Close to airport so sound of jets overhead all day.

What a perfect place to stay in Ocean Beach! Steps from the beach, an easy walk into the heart of Ocean Beach as well. The unit is pristine clean, loaded with amenities for the beach, family games, and the kitchen is fully equipped if you want to stay in and cook. Beautiful patio area to hang out in! The host is warm and gracious, super responsive and checked in on us to ensure our comfort. Will always stay here when visiting Ocean Beach! !
