"It's a completely gorgeous spot and the staff are friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are amazing. As a hotel option, it's not ideal in terms of efficiency and modernity, so don't go there looking for that. This is for someone who appreciates an old mansion, a gothic rooftop, an old school fancy bar. "Mary Lou was so nice to chat with, and very helpful. Sharing with us the history of the home was so fun. Such a kind soul. The peace and quiet was so nice. Discovering the history of the home was so fun! Why are there no fireplaces?!? Basement? Crawl space? See what you can find. Play records on the…well, what is it? Victorola? Hmm But be respectful, put everything back as you found it, so others can enjoy it as we have."

"This is my second time at the property. It’s just as incredible the second time as it was the first time. I hosted our staff retreat there. 11 of us ladies fit very comfortably as it is so spacious. We had a wellness retreat. The pool and hot tub, amazing grounds and incredible house made for the perfect setting. I highly recommend and the hosts are always excellent and accommodating!!! Don’t think twice, book it!"
