"This is an excellent hotel in Gamla Stan. It’s not cheap but considering what it offers it is a fair price for the money. We stayed here five nights in May, 2024. During that time we experienced snow, rain, winds and warm sunshine. The hotel offered large umbrellas that fortunately protected us from those first two cold and rainy days. Our room was a Captain’s double. It was large, clean and comfortable, although the shower is small. The bed was very comfortable and the room seemed soundproof...

"It was so lovely to be in a location out of the city centre but to have it so accessible. With the water taxi right outside & so frequent. The hotel is brimming with style and elegance, a former mill with breathtaking views. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever tasted with so much selection. There was even a pillow menu ! We will definitely be returning. "

"Good location, just a short walk into the city centre. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. I appreciated the free tea and coffee. My room was fine, although a little warm, with openable window. Great breakfast with lots of choice. All the staff seemed friendly."
