"What a lovely place in a beautiful location, west side of the Lake District. All the home comforts you could need including reclining sofa and a washing machine! Clean, comfortable and warm with excellent wifi connection. Thank you to the friendly hosts Colin and Lesley who were to hand if anything was needed but who were not intrusive or interferring at all. "We had a really nice stay. The place is setup nicely and much bigger than expected so plenty of space for whatever you bring with you. The beds are comfy and the showers really good. There is easy access to Bassenthwaite for water sports and access to the hills behind and around for walking and running. "Well equipped and obviously recently refurbished to a very good standard - having 3 showers and bathrooms is really good! Well equipped good kitchen and plenty of space. Location is ideal, great views of the fells and plenty of walking and other activities on the doorstep."

"What a beautiful location for a lodge! The lodge itself was well presented and clean with everything you would need, but by far the best things are the views and the peace. You are only 15mins away from Keswick. We will definitely be back."
