Lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury lodge with views overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw mountain range. Lake accessible by a jetty between March and Nov only.
Set on a lovely tranquil 5 star award winning park. Ideal retreat for walking, fishing, canoeing and cycling. Nearest pub 1 mile. Ideal base to visit areas within the Lake District National Park. Keswick being 6 miles and Cockermouth 7 miles.

Great location

The cabin is in excellent condition with a good range of quality kitchen ware. The view is fantastic. This really is one of best cabins to hire in Bassenthwaite. We have stayed here on a few occasions and will be returning soon.

Fantastic as always

This was our 2nd visit, best family/dog friendly place to stay in the area. Excellent facilities and super comfy lodge in a picturesque location. The owner was very accommodating and responds promptly.

A fantastic mini break

Fantastic lodge, so well looked after with all the little bits you need. Superb location with amazing views, very peaceful and great base for visiting other areas of the lake district. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Bassenthwaite Lakeside Lodges

Beautiful location with a great range of activities to enjoy, recommend going to Keswick, going tot the local wildlife park and enjoying some food and drink at the Sun Inn. The lodge was amazing with everything you need.

Perfect relaxing stay

The site is perfect for a quiet relaxing stay, great views and 2 minutes to the lake. Everything you need in the lodge for a home from home stay. If you have dogs there’s a great area for dogs for a short walk and a 2 mile circuit without having to get in your car!!!

New Year stay
