"We enjoyed the quiet luxury of our room and bath, and the beauty of the entire house. The breakfasts were tasty, prepared by the very friendly chef. Excellent coffee, too. We lounged a bit in all the common areas and enjoyed the beautiful furnishings and fireplace. It was such a treat to stay in this unique, lovely place."

"The Sanctuary on the Huron River has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were awesome and they made sure you had everything you needed during your stay. And, let’s not forget the delicious home made gourmet breakfast that is served daily. We will return!!! "

Communication was excellent and prompt, and the hosts were just the right amount of available. The location allows a very short walk to Ford Field, Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena, and plenty of other businesses and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again! "Our room was spacious and clean. The parking spot was right next to our room. The inn's location is nice, close to downtown. Founders Brewing is also close by. We felt safe. The icing on the cake was Mona's hospitality. She was always available and willing to please. Her breakfasts were delicious. Lots to do in Detroit. We'll be back."

"Clean and spacious apartment hotel with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable. Dining options limited in the immediate area, but coney island and other options available within a 7 to 10 minute walk. Casinos within a 12 to 15 minute walk. Only issue was, their was no TV in the bedroom. Large TV in the living room with Roku channel load. I will definitely stay here again."

"Absolutely loved our stay! The room was spacious, clean, and stocked with every amenity. The bed was extremely comfortable (even the pillows!) and we slept so well. It was the first hot weekend of the summer, and the AC kept the room the perfect temperature, quietly. As for location, I've stayed in a few downtown Detroit hotels and I really enjoyed where this one was located. Easy walking distance to restaurants, or close the 375 if you're needing to get out of the city, or Jefferson Ave to...
